Machined Springs are similar in function to Wire Wound Springs, but they are manufactured in a different way.
It is a single piece of material precisely designed and machined to have spring characteristics. Machined springs can be engineered to provide precise performance as compression, extension, torsion, lateral translation, or lateral bending spring. By producing rectangular coils with high aspect ratios, you can tailor a machined spring's performance characteristics to even the most exacting application requirements.
